Off-Premise Datacentre Space
Most of our customers require a second datacentre for disaster recovery. Some have their own which they are looking to appraise, many rent space from a datacentre provider, and a few need one but don’t think they can afford one. When we’ve built infrastructures, particularly with DR in mind, we’ve often been struck by how expensive, how inflexible, and how uninformed many providers are.
Managed Service
This has prompted us to build our own datacentre. We put your equipment next to our staff in a state of the art computing space. Being intrinsic to the infrastructure build, move, and migration we are able to offer extremely competitive rates and a level of value added service you only associate with a partner who has intimate knowledge of your systems, your needs, and your best interests at heart.
Excellent Location
The datacentre is located just outside Maidstone in Kent, within easy access of London by road and rail, and only 30 minutes from London Gatwick international airport. The building has excellent n+1 power provision with lots of capacity, state of the art cooling, and very good multi-carrier communications. The location also benefits from 24x7 secure access, plenty of parking, office areas, and an on-site restaurant.
Room to Grow
Phase 1 has seen us convert 3200 sq ft of a possible 150,000 sq ft, so we have plenty of space to expand and be flexible. Customers can take space in our existing shared suite, take their own space in their own exclusive suite within the existing datacentre space, or we can look at options to convert more discreet areas for larger dedicated production requirements – even providing office space should it be a desirable primary site location.
